DEI Summer Workshop - White Privilege and Entitlement Culture: How We Can (and Must) Do Better Online
Presented by Dr. Virginia Cylke
White Privilege includes the unquestioned advantages, entitlements, benefits, assumptions, and expectations bestowed on white people based solely on membership in the culturally dominant group. The purpose of this workshop is to foster a common language and perspective, to define, identify and acknowledge the personal experience of white privilege, and to learn how to put in the crucial work to become better allies to people of color. Actions to become actively anti-racist will be explored and implementation methods discussed.
